Regulations and Recommendations aimed at improving security
in the light of terrorist threats are being progressed.
Particularly with regard to shipments to the US. C-TPAT
(Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) is a
cooperative endeavour between the trade community and US
Customs Service to develop, enhance, and maintain effective
security throughout the global supply chain. The
upshot of this is that all shippers will need to provide
their own bolt seals which are to be affixed where and
when the container is loaded and not at the terminal. To
support this we are packaging Intermodal
Bolt Seals in quantities down to 200.
